Draft, version 0.2, 1 November 2026. This document is being prepared for privacy and legal review and will change before we accept bills from the public.
Who we are and what the service is
Handle My Bills is an independent broadband concierge run by Axiom Labs Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 13225000, whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. You hand us the job of reviewing your household broadband; we research your options, recommend one course of action and, with your approval, deal with the provider for you.
During the October test the service is free, and we take no commission or referral fee from any broadband provider.
What we will do
We will read the bill or contract details you give us and check anything that is unclear with you. We will find out what matters to you and what you will not accept. We will research the offers available at your address using sources we can show you. We will compare what each option really costs over its term, not the headline price. We will consider staying, renegotiating, switching, and doing nothing. We will recommend one course of action and explain the trade-offs that matter. We will ask for your approval on the website before anything that commits you. We will deal with the provider and the practical steps as far as the provider allows. We will tell you when you must identify yourself to a provider or do something only you can do. We will confirm the outcome from evidence, not from having sent an instruction.
What we do not promise
- The cheapest deal available, or any particular saving.
- That every provider or offer is covered.
- That your service will be uninterrupted during a change.
- That a case can be completed without any involvement from you.
- Any power over a provider's own identity or contract checks.
Your instructions and your approval
The instructions you give us when you start a case permit us to review your bill, research your options and contact providers within the limits you set. They are not approval for any particular new contract.
A new or changed contract needs your separate approval, which you give by signing in at handlemybills.co.uk. That approval records the exact terms you accepted and when. A text or an email can point you to the page where you decide; nothing is approved by replying to one.
What we need from you
- You are the account holder for the broadband service, or you may act for them.
- The details you give us are accurate, and you tell us if something changes.
- You never give us your provider password, security answers or one-time codes, and we never ask for them. We never ask for card or bank details by email or text: a payment, when you choose to make one, happens on Stripe's page.
Stopping and changing your mind
You can tell us to stop at any time, by signing in or by email. We halt anything not yet committed with a provider; if something is already under way, we tell you what it is and what can still be done. A commitment a provider has already accepted cannot be undone by us.
What you pay
Nothing for your broadband case. The one payment during the October test is the founding membership deposit below, which you choose to make. If we ever charge for the service, that will be a new term you accept first; no charge is introduced without it.
Founding membership deposit
When your case is complete, we ask whether you would like us to look after your other household bills too. If you say yes, we offer you a founding place in the household membership we plan to launch, which will cover the common household bills we name when it launches. Its planned fee is £149.00 a year, and founding members keep that price.
To reserve a place you pay a deposit of £25.00, which is taken off your first year's fee when the membership launches. If the membership has not launched by 31 October 2027, we refund the deposit in full.
You can cancel within 14 days of paying and we refund you in full, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, write to hello@handlemybills.co.uk. Every refund goes back through Stripe to the card you paid with.
You pay on Stripe's page, and the card details never reach us. The deposit is your choice and changes nothing about your case, and we handle no other bill during the October test.
Your account and deleting it
Your account is for you alone, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account from your settings. Our privacy notice says what is deleted and what is kept.
Our responsibility to you
We are not your broadband provider and cannot vary its terms; the contract for your broadband is between you and the provider. The limits of our responsibility to you under these terms are [liability wording for legal review].
Complaints and problems
If something is wrong, email hello@handlemybills.co.uk and we will look into it. For a concern about your personal information you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Which courts hear a dispute about them is [to be confirmed].
Changes to these terms
This is a draft and will change before the service accepts bills from the public. When it does, the version and date at the top will change with it. Two things do not change without your say: a charge for the service is a new term you accept first, and a new or changed broadband contract always needs your separate approval on the website.
